SE Portland Artwalk
I've been accepted to participate in the SE Area Artwalk in March, and I just wanted to start spreading the word about it. It's the second year of the event--last year I walked around and saw a lot of the art, and it was a lot of fun. It's set up in people's homes and home studios, so you get a chance to see where a lot of people do their artwork. There are also people hosted by others so you can sneak in and see some of those nice houses in Ladd's Addition, for instance.
Anyway, the artwalk is March 5 and 6 from 10-5 each day, and I'm going to be showing my artwork at a friend's house at 1306 SE Harrison. The website for the event is www.seportlandartwalk.com and pretty soon you'll be able to go there and print out maps and see where all the artists are. Hope to see you there!
I'll be exhibiting some Etch-a-Sketch artwork, ink drawings and cartoons, and possibly some of my acrylic paintings.
