SE Portland Artwalk 2006
It's almost time for the SE Portland Artwalk again, and I've got a few new Etch-a-Sketchings (including the smaller Travel size), new Portland-themed ink drawings, and a fun DVD. The Art-o-matic probably will not make an appearance at this particular artwalk since I'll be sharing the space with another artist this year. You'll also have the chance to buy a raffle ticket to win some artwork, a benefit for Partners in Health. (My host, Deirdre Donovan, will have more information about this during the artwalk.)
This year there will also be another artist sharing the location with me: Gabriel Miller works with clay and will also have his artwork for sale.
In case you've never been, this is the third year of the event, and it's set up in home studios, homes, and businesses in the area, so it's a good chance to see the insides of some of the homes in Ladd's Addition and other places, too! It's also fun to check out home studios, to see where people work on their artwork.
The artwalk is March 4 & 5 (Saturday & Sunday) from 10-5 each day, and I'm going to be showing my artwork at 1306 SE Harrison, where I was last year (#3 on this year's map). The website for the event is www.seportlandartwalk.com, where you can download the map and artist lists. The maps will also be available at many SE area businesses, so look for the bright green signs!
We've also got a lot of musicians lined up to provide some awesome music during the weekend. Here's the music schedule:
